Yay!! Let's focus on the family, and let the kids be kids. Don't stress I know as a mom how hectic it can be getting everyone ready. At the photoshoot we will play, cuddle and allow the kids to have fun at the same time.
THE BIG DAY
I know planning what to wear can be soo hard! If you're anything like me you want to wear everything ahah there's just too many options, right?! You will receive Style Guide it'll help you narrow down your choices and it also comes with a prep checklist! Always pick moms outfit first and the families around yours. You can always text me pics of your outfits to get advice, or I can help you with online shopping.
STYLE GUIDE & PREP
Once you book your photoshoot, we will get to planning. You'll choose your location and fill out the questionnaire. I want to learn everything about your family so that I can tailor your session to match your personality and allow your family to have fun and enjoy each other while creating your DREAM PHOTOSHOOT.

Our calendar opens up each quarter with the availability, sessions book fairly quickly. I only take on 2 full family sessions a month. Choose your date & pay your 50% retainer.

From Start to Finish
Your family session should revolve around your family. Every little detail matters! I want your session to feel like quality time with your family. We will get all of those cuddles in, we will play fun games. and focus on true emotions. My biggest goal is for you to have a stress free session.
I am sure some of you may be thinking "oh, well you do not know my wild kids. Well mama believe me when I say I got you! We will embrace the chaos. I have three rowdy boys, so I totally get it.
Experience
I decide on location a few days before your session, although it will be in a field/hills located in or around San Jose, CA. If you request a travel session or a specific location from my work please let me know in advance. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? If it is overcast, we can still shoot we may just alter the time to a little earlier, but if it is raining I will provide a few rain out dates. I send all locations 24 hours prior to session, and usually not any sooner as I am always scouting new BEAUTIFUL locations for us.

I try to keep my photography very natural. I focus on connection instead of only posing. I feel this allows everyones true character to show through!
Where does the photo session take place?
My sessions happen at sunset, or occasionally sunrise. I do not shoot midday due to my style. It is often later than young toddler/babies bed times in the summer so be prepared to alter your nap schedule on your photo day if your little one may be tired by sunset.

How would you describe your photography style?
All sessions have a 3 week turn around. I do not guarantee sneak peeks as it slows down the turn around time for those waiting on their galleries ahead of you. Entire gallery might be the first time you see your images, but they are always worth the time. :)
How quickly do we get our images back?
I will send you a link to view and download your photos from a site called shootproof, which allows for high resolution downloads only. PLEASE DO NOT SCREENSHOT these they will not print or share well (fuzzy quality).
How do i view the photos after the session?
I do a mixture choosing what I think looks best for each individual picture.
Do you include any black and whites?
Yes I will take some time taking some relaxed posed portraits of you together as a family. But I take more time letting the action happen naturally and capturing the moments as they unfold.
