After being in foster care and separated from my five siblings I wanted to find a way to giveback to the foster youth community in a positive way. Finding my passion in photography helped me to realize my camera, and my work are such powerful tools for both story telling and relationship building. My business gives back to the foster youth community and our less fortunate in many ways listed below.
As a client you will be actively participating in helping give senior foster youth a chance to participate in our Spokesmodel team, This helps them to create bonds and build relationships with their peers while participating in photoshoots to help build confidence and events to build those relationships. You will also be helping children receive gifts during the holidays, and the homeless being fed + clothed.
GIVING BACK
Why High school seniors you my ask. Because this is such a turning point in their lives. They are truly entering adulthood and for most foster youth this is a time when they are truly on their own. What better opportunity then to help them build relationships and give them something to look forward to. I am only one person and I may not be able to make a difference in every foster youths life, but I can use my skills to help as many foster youth as I can during this pivotal time in their life. I want to help them experience their own Alchemy.
Every year we host an affordable Christmas mini that helps cover Thanksgiving dinners for the homeless. It also lower income families have a photo session for really affordable price with the option to receive extra images if they bring lightly used jackets to donate.
Around Christmas time we purchase Christmas presents for Kids and donate them. We also allow our clients to submit families that are going through hardship for us to adopt. We usually choose 1-2 families depending on circumstances.
